A dear friend of mine awoke at 5 30 in the morning and found her boyfriend lying on the living room floor dead.He had a clear liquid coming from his nostrils and then it ultimately stopped and then blood ran from his nostrils.She has been dealing with the pain very hard.She was told he had a coronary occlusion.She is perplexed about this and why there were no apparent signs?The liquid being clear and changing to blood has her questioning many things.Any help is so greatly appreciated and will no doubt help her with some closure.Can anyone tell me why clear liquids would come from a dead mans nostrils after an apparent heart attack?
After death occurs, muscles relax and some people have drainage and even bowel movements. Tell your friend to talk to a doctor, nurse or therapist about what she saw. This could put her mind at ease. I am sorry for her loss, but she has a good friend in you trying to help her cope.
