Heart problems are often hard to diagnose if there has been no damage done to the heart and if the person is not actually having an episode while in the ER or doctors office. These symptoms are much like the ones I suffered with for years before being diagnosed in 1996 with Atrial Fibrillation. I wore a holter monitor two different times and went to the ER numerous times, but the episode would have stopped by the time I arrived. Finally, in 1996 I went to the ER and was still having the irregular heart beat when I arrived. They hooked me up to a heart monitor and of course immediately the alarm went off. The doctor came in, diagnosed AF, gave me medication to stop the episode and sent me home to see my doctor and refer me to a cardiologist. Just knowing that I was not crazy, and had a real problem was such a relief. To this day, all of my stress tests, EKG's, blood work comes out fine because I have no heart damage.

If these episodes are short lived, there isn't much to do other than try to get to the ER while they are happening.Tests came back all clear but my boyfriend keeps having bad heart palpations.?
Switch to an all alkaline diet.

Take Black Strap Molasses (1 tablespoon morn and evening)

Take cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon in orange juice, shot glass, down the hatch

whenever palpitations occur. Please do not take cayenne pepper in capsule form

or tablet. They release contents in one area of the stomach causing severe pain.

Using orange juice or prune juice prevents pain.

Try some liquid vitamins:

If you are active with any of the following, stop for a few weeks.

Smoking

Drinking Alcohol

Drugs

Caffeine Products including OTC

Exercises

Road Rage

Explosive Anger

Viewing Scary Movies

I hope this helps...
passing out has NOTHING to do with your diet. you need to send your boyfriend to a cardiologist. palpitations is one thing (and sometimes doesnt really mean anything), but passing out is serious and needs further evaluation.

as for cayenne pepper and whatever else nonmedically trained people will tell you to take, please disregard as these people are fools who will only cause your boyfriend physical harm with their snake oil treatments....i do admit, though, cayenne pepper goes great on nachos!

EDIT: youre right that it could be a-fib related in which case anticoagulants with possible ablation therapy may be indicated. it could, however, be more serious, like recurring symptomatic v-tach, in which case he may need an AICD installed. you need to have your bf see a cardiologist.

again neither diet, nor jesus, nor anything like that is going to help.
see a different doctor a cardiologist would be the best
