Soul exchange vs. heart of clear water?

ok so heart of clear water says ';The monster equipped with this card is not destroyed as a result of battle or by the effect of a card that targets the monster.'; does that also including tributing the monster because it says destroys not anything else so if i use soul exchange will it work?Soul exchange vs. heart of clear water?
If you tribute a Monster that is equipped with ';Heart of Clear Water';, that Monster will be send to the Graveyard.

';Soul Exchange'; does not aim at destroying a Monster. Rather it lets you choose an Opponent's Monster for a Tribut summon. Thus, ';Heart of Clear Water'; will not protect a Monster from being tributed for a Summon.

Happy duelling!Soul exchange vs. heart of clear water?
You can only equip that card if you have Masters of Soul Exchange out. Otherwise the Mystic Cobalt of the Daedric shrine will necromance his followers and obliterate you out of your misery. Not a great idea is it?
Yes. Soul Exchange treats the opponent's monster as yours for the cost of a tribute. Tributing and destroying are not the same.
Soul Exchange tributes the monster it does not destroy it. So Soul Exchange will work.

Hoped I helped some ^_^b
